It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris on Friday, September 27th, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. We are thankful to know she is now in the arms of Jesus and reunited with her soulmate and one true love, Arthur Brown, who passed away 30 years ago. She will be deeply missed by her children, Dale (John) Page, Diane (Jeff) Caird, Marilyn McLean (Stewart, deceased), and Jim Brown. Beloved grandmother of Cheryl (Steven) Fisher, Adam (Mandy) MacLeod, Amy Caird, Emily Caird, Laurie McLean (Adrian LeBlanc), David Brown (Amanda Tibbutt), Josh Brown. Cherished great-grandmother « Nana » to Sophie, Owen, Valerie, Evelyn, Rachel, and Breanna. Will be missed by her dear friends Gerry and Susanne (her Tim Horton’s daily lunch dates), her church family at Bethel Pentecostal, Battersea, her long-time friend and travel companion, Nan Libbey, and many other good friends. Predeceased by her parents Hallie and Edna Laming, and siblings Leita, Helena and Hollus. Doris loved to travel, but her greatest passion in life was her family.
