Donald William Wicks, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away September 5, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Elsie Wicks, his brother, Lorne Wicks; and his sister, Jean (Arthur) Purdey.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret; son, Douglas Wicks, Surrey BC and his children, Jesse (Debbie), Derrick (Marsha), Rhejis, and Logan; daughter, Donna (Bruce) Sweeney, Regina, SK and their children, Matthew and Denise; Marjorie (Bob) Helfrick, Nanaimo, BC and his children, Kevin and Katrina; several great grand-children; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn, SK with Rev. M. Barnabas officiating. Interment will be at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK with luncheon to follow at Upper Grace Hall, Weyburn, SK.
