We’re sad to announce that Chris passed away from a rare lung disorder on September 10, 2019 at the age of 64 years. We almost lost Chris in March of this year, but he battled back and gave us six too-short months to share a few more laughs. Chris was born in Calgary. During his life, Chris worked in his family’s business, Cardinal Coach Lines Ltd., was a long-time volunteer with the civic service club, Cosmopolitan International, and before retiring to Hanna, worked with Commissionaires. Chris was a big guy, especially his heart, and gave a loving home to many cats and dogs. Alberta’s best jam-maker, Chris filled hundreds of jars, gifting them to family and friends to enjoy. Chris leaves behind his wife, Jackie Nelson of Hanna, and step-daughter, Melinda Alexander (Scott) of Calgary. Chris is also survived by his brother, Stan (Dorota) of Calgary; brother, Roy (Ruth) of Courtenay; sister, Diane Tullson (Wayne) of Vancouver; sister-in-law, Linda Weber of Calgary; and former sister-in-law, Anneliese Weber of Calgary. Chris’s niece and nephews will miss their Uncle Buck. Chris was predeceased by his father, Gerald; mother, Shirley; brother, Steven; and grand-nephew, Cory Weber. We’ll think of him at peace and remember him with a smile. Chris requested that there be no funeral. Instead, we’ll gather to celebrate Chris when the days grow longer.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Christopher Brent Weber..
