Wesley, Christina, at the Chapman House, Owen Sound, on Saturday September 14, 2019. Christina Wesley (nee Root) of Saugeen First Nation at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Roy Wesley. Proud mother of Arlene Besito. Dear grandmother of Tanya, Randy, Alvin, and Dale, and great grandmother of Nicki, Georgia, and Cameron. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and by her friends of the community. Predeceased by her parents Alexander & Isabella, by her son Radford Wesley and his wife Glenda, by her siblings, Lawrence, Rose, Crawford, Nancy, Uriel, Paulina, Winifred, Audrey, Joseph, and by her son-in-law Lee Roy Besito. Christina’s dog, Theodore, will miss all the love & affection that was given to him from her. Christina was a proud member of the Wesley United Church for many years and owned Wesley’s Variety Store for 25 years with her husband Roy. Visitation from the Wesley United Church, Highway #21, Saugeen First Nation, on Tuesday September 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Christina Wesley will be conducted at the Church on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 2pm. Interment French Bay Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Wesley United Church or to the charity of your choice.
