Charles’ Obituary
Charles Leighton Campbell of Moose Jaw, SK passed away September 6, 2019 at Pioneers Lodge. Charlie was born August 29, 1940 at Cardross, SK to Roy and Agnes Campbell. He married Elaine Peterson May 24, 1963. Predeceased by brother Colin; sister Ruth and brother-in-law Maurice Carnie. Survived by wife Elaine; son Brent (Laura); daughter Dianna (Brian); 3 granddaughters, Krista (Jason) and their children Julia and Dawson; Miranda (Cody) and their son Easton; Jenna (Brock); brother Albert (Sandi); sister Mary Carnie and sister-in-law Carol Campbell. Charlie worked as a tradesman for many years as a heavy duty mechanic, road construction, upholster and farm equipment sales. For many years he was a member of the Kinsmen and K40 club. He enjoyed watching sports on TV such as football, curling and the Blue Jays. He enjoyed camping all over Saskatchewan, Alberta, BC and the U.S. The family would like to thank all the nurses and great care staff of Pioneers Lodge for the excellent care they gave Charlie. A private family service to be held at a later date. Flowers great fully declined, donations may be made to Stars Ambulance. In living memory of Charles, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
