Ben McKay passed away on November 2nd, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 76 surrounded by his family.
Ben’s memory will be forever cherished by his wife Myrna of 54 years, children: Angela (Robert) Dodwell, Joanne (Kelly) Dreaver, Beverly McKay, Kimberly McKay, and Jason McKay, his grandchildren, a huge part of his world were: Evan, Ryan, Scott, Matthew, Branden, Lance, Cameron, Jaycee, Brittney, Colby, Jeremy, Nolan, great-grandchildren whom he cherished each and every one of; Eva, Shiloh, Mia, Marcus, Jackson, Alexia, Autumn, Liam, Lucas, Logan; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
Ben was predeceased by parents Walter and Mary McKay, siblings; Victor (Alma) McKay, Gilbert, Ruby (Earnest) Umpherville, Evelyn (Dave) Fidler, in-laws Dave and Delilah Carriere.
Ben loved to golf, curl and coach his Aallcann hockey team where he made many friends through the years.
Fishing with his son, brothers and brothers-in-law were some of the things he filled his time with as much as he could.
Hearing Ben’s stories, making anyone laugh or smile when he used his ability to gab will forever be in our hearts.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at GlenMary Church with Interment to follow at GlenMary Cemetery.
