A devoted father, grandfather and loving partner to the late Sonya McIntyre of 45 years, died peacefully away on August 6, 2019, age 84 years at the L.A. Miller Center.
Bill is survived by his children Kristy Wasser, Stacey Bridger (husband George) and Stephen (wife Stephanie); his grandchildren, Danny McIntyre (wife Jessica), Kurtis McIntyre (wife Candace), Krystal Lawlor (husband Nick), Danielle Edwards (husband Tim), Blake Wasser, Selina, Erica, Jenna and Levi McIntyre; and four beautiful great-grandchildren, Ryely McIntyre, Noah Lawlor, Annika McIntyre and Clara Edwards; brother and sisters Edward Whittle (Bonnie), Marie Seviour, Catherine Whalen and Helen Everard; and many nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by parents William and Bridget Whittle and sister Phyllis Farrell.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 9, 2019 from Caul’s Chapel at 2 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
