Theodore R. « Ted » MacDonald
1942-2019
Theodore R. « Ted » MacDonald of
Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on
Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the age of 77. Born in Moncton,
he was the son of the late Harry and Eva MacDonald.
Ted was employed with CNR as a Carman and then went
on to be a Commissionaire until his retirement. In his youth he was in
the Navy for two years, and was a reservist in the Royal Canadian
Army, 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s) Regiment as a
Bandsman. He attended the Salvation Army Church, and played
the tuba in their brass band.
Besides his music, Ted also had a passion for over
50 years building model trains that filled his house, including the
attic and basement.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra
(Griffin); daughter, Wendy Anderson (Kevin) of Riverview; two
grandsons, Brennan Fowler and William Anderson both of
Riverview.
In honor of Ted there will be no visitation or
public funeral services held.
