Stanley James « Stan » Singleton
Stanley James « Stan » Singleton – 83, of
Greenwich, Kings County, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at home.
Born in England, he was a son of the late John and Nellie (King)
Singleton. He had been employed as a millwright with Minas Basin Pulp
and Paper. He also worked in construction and later farming, from
where he retired. He is survived by his wife, Catherine (King); two
daughters, Karen, New Brunswick and Vesta Singleton, Hants Border; two
sons, Corey and Anthony, both of Hants Border; three brothers,
Delbert, Ernest and Geoffrey, all of Hantsport; several grandchildren.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Albert, John, Ralph and Harold.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A
graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019
in the Lower Horton Cemetery, Grand Pré. Donations in
memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral
Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
