Ronald Stoltz
1939-2019
Ronald Albert Stoltz passed away peacefully surrounded by the loving
touch of his family on August 1st, 2019, at the age of 80. Beloved
husband of Lucille (nee Condon) of 49 years. Treasured father of
Jennifer Stoltz, Michael Stoltz and Jillian Clegg (Chris). Adored
Papa of Emma (Mike), Annelise, Evan, Hana, Jack, Kathleen and Laurel.
Dear brother of Anne Haddock (Joe, deceased) and Allan Stoltz.
Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Margaret Stoltz and infant sister
Betty Lou. Cherished member of the wonderful Stoltz and Condon clans.
Loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. Ron was a fiercely proud
member of the first graduating class of the University of Waterloo
Civil Engineering program (1963). Following a long and respected
career as a Civil Engineer, Ron threw his considerable energies into
local volunteering and the UW Alumni Association. Dad will always be
remembered for his passion for gardening, open-wheel car racing and
snowmobiling. Also, for his dedication for keeping family traditions
alive and connecting family through reunions and photographs. We love
you Dad. Funeral Mass to be held on Friday August 16th, 3:30pm at St.
Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 53 Wellington St, Cambridge.
Celebration of Life to follow at The French Club, 647 Franklin Blvd,
Cambridge, 5:00-8:00pm. In honour of Ron’s tireless efforts to
better this world through avid volunteerism and supporting global
causes, please consider finding your own way to keep this light
burning.
