The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Marie (née Chartrand) Fortin. Son of the late Aimé and the late Leatitia (née Martel) Fortin. Loving father of Roger (Brenda), Robert, Jean (Anne-Marie) and Yves (Michelle). Dear brother of Rita Lozier (Augustin), Lucien (late Marthe), Jean-Guy, Maurice (Henriette), Yvette Lepage (André) and Maria Ouellette (late Antonin). Predeceased by his siblings Edouard (Laurette), Louis (Marcella), Fernand (Eglantine), Paul (Rita) and Raymond (Denise). Cherished grandfather of Claudine, Marie Christine, Martine, Remi, Leo, Shannon, Alyssa, Wendy, Tammy, Eric, Conrad, Danielle, Lyn, Emma, Mya and Jaden. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Monday, August 26, 2019 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Dominique Church, Sudbury.
