Richard (Mickey) Davine
Peacefully, on Thursday, August 1, 2019, in his ninety-ninth year. Beloved husband of the late Naomi. Cherished father and father-in-law of Rhona and Jerry Rosenblatt, and Jon Davine. Proud and loving grandfather of Jeff and Liana, Sara and Sean. Adored great-grandfather of Kali and Dani Rosenblatt, James, Noah and Frankie Adelsohn. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Sam Davine, Ben and Rae Davine, Fanny Davine, Henry and Irene Davine, Al and Estelle Davine, Sylvia and Bennie Bodnoff; and by Naomi’s siblings and their spouses, Ryna and Abe Pinsky, Rose and Arnold (Sonny) Blauer. Son of the late Isaac and the late Libby Davine. Mickey will be sadly missed by Yvonne Kramer, family, friends and all of those whose lives he touched. Uncle Mick will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews with whom he had a special relationship. Special thanks to the caring staff of the Waldorf Residence. The family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude, Irene, Carmen, Cindy, Naty, as well as his other devoted caregivers. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 4 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva at his daughter’s home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
