In Loving Memory of Reginald Michael Newell
Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, In his 88th year.
Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee Dugan) for over 62 years. Loving father of Kevin (Wendy), Cherylin (the late Randy), and Glenda (Clyde). Cherished grandfather of Jeremy (Samantha), Alexandra (Andrew), Jesse, Luke, Christopher (Ali), Nicole (Alex) and great grandfather of Tiffany, Hayden and Aurora. Dear brother of Gene (Gayla), predeceased by Florence, Edith, Barbara, Joy, Grant, Hartley, Eldridge and by his parents Victoia and Irvine Newell. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Mike will be fondly remembered for his many years of hard work for the telephone system, his love of working in the bush cutting wood, his carving of wildlife creatures and most of all, his love of family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit the family at the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., 127 Bobcaygeon Rd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0 on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 12:00 o’clock noon until of the Service to Celebrate Mike’s Life at 1:00 pm. Interment at the Ingoldsby Pioneer Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Ingoldsby United Church (downstairs).
Memorial Donations to the Ingoldsby or Lochlin United Churches would be appreciated by the family.
