Raymond (Guy) Thomas Jardine of Millerton, NB, husband of Joy (Steeves) Jardine, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at the age of 83. Born in Blackville on June 21, 1936, Guy was the son of the late Weldon and Vada (Curtis) Jardine.
Guy drove transport for many years along with some small business ventures. His passions included automobiles, Harley-Davidsons and the fiddle. Guy was a loving husband and caring father who doted over his two boys.
Guy is survived by his wife, Joy, sons: Slade (Tara Allison) of Miramichi, NB and Mitch (Gloria Chai) of Toronto, ON; grandson Kameron (Miramichi); sister: Mae Giberson (Ken) of Miramichi, NB and sisters-in-law: Joan Jardine and Eileen Jardine both of Lower Derby, NB along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Warren and Percy, sisters Rose Levitt and Ellen MacCallum (Bennet).
Visitation will be at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi on Friday, August 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Vaden Sutherland officiating.
