Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at the age of 93 years, Marie Nelida Blanche Rachel (Larocque) Deslauriers. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Charles Deslauriers and cherished mother of Robert (Sue), Yves (Wendy), Guylaine Lawrence (Joe), Marc (Heather) and Nina. Loving grandmother of James (Stacey), David (Tamara), Bob (Nicole), Mila (Ben), Michael (Saskia), Anna (Don), Rebecca, the late Eric, Daniel (Sarah), Darren and Philip. Dear great-grandmother of Sean, Ryan, Darius, Gabby, Brandon (Courtney), Skylor, Tryton, Evelyn, Ian, Jack, Claire, Corbin, Cole and Cohen. Survived by brother Guy Larocque. Predeceased by her parents Télesphore and Alice (Marriner) Larocque, siblings Fleurette Carriere, Jeanne St. Amour, Hector Larocque and Monique Quevillon.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 from 12 – 2 pm followed by the rite of committal and a reception. The family wish to express their gratitude to the staff at Wellington House, Prescott for their care and compassion to our mother.
