Patricia Stoffel, the wife, mother and grandmother who showed us what love and devotion really are, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 74. Pat was born August 31, 1944. Raised in Dysart, she was a farm girl at heart who wasn’t afraid of hard work in the fields – a quality that stayed with her until the end. But for Pat, the lure of city shone brightly. She moved to Regina where she built a successful career helping to successfully manage several Catholic elementary and high schools. Students were sad when Mrs. Stoffel decided to finally retire from Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School at age 72. It was her family, though, that was her passion – all those early morning hockey and ringette games with her kids and then the football and basketball games years later with her grandkids. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Peter Sr. and Katie. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James, and their three children: Shannon (Marc Degelman and their children Spencer and Arden); Derek; Holden (Alison Layng and her children Matthew and Holly). Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Parish, 3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina, SK on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
