Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the arms of her loving family on Friday, August 9, 2019, age 79 years. Predeceased by her loving daughter Eileen Babb; parents Tom and Elizabeth Power, County Wicklow, Ireland; and brother-in-law Joseph Lynch, Dublin, Ireland. Leaving to mourn her husband Dick of St. John’s; daughter Jeannie Winsor (Gerald) of Torbay; son Richard (Karen) of St. Louis, Missouri, USA; son-in-law Norman Babb; sisters: Maeve Lynch of Dublin, Ireland and Jean Nolan (Liam) of Waterford, Ireland; sister-in-law: Sr. Eileen Flynn, RSM; grandchildren: Nicole, Elizabeth (Adam), Sinead, Caitlyn, Connor and Keara; great-grandson William; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Ireland. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, with visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
