Obituary of Nancy Ann McKinlay
Nancy Ann McKinlay (nee Boundy) September 2nd, 1951 – August 9th, 2019
It is with great sadness, the family of Nancy Ann McKinlay announces her peaceful passing, with her husband Robert by her side, on Friday, August 9th, 2019 at The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, Ontario at the age of 67.
Nancy was the beloved wife of 48 years to Robert (Bob) and devoted mother to Matthew (Steve) and Jason (Julie). Nancy was a cherished grandmother to Brittany McKinlay (Sean), Brooke Mckinlay (Leah), Dryden McKinlay, and Liam, Nathan and Colin Stephenson. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Jamie, Thomas and Clark Moffatt. Nancy will be dearly missed by her siblings Jim Boundy (Bonnie), Marlene Boughen (late Jim), Shirley Beaupre (late Ed), Keith Boundy (Regine), Glen Boundy and Ray Boundy (Kay). Nancy will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy is predeceased by her parents Hector and Mina Boundy and siblings Mary, Cathy and John (Boomer) Boundy.
Her family wishes to thank Dr. Iris Noland and Nancy’s many caregivers for their kindness and support, especially the staff and volunteers at The Bridge Hospice for the compassion and care shown to Nancy and our entire family. Also thanks to Nancy’s granddaughter Brooke for taking such an active role in her care for her over the past two years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24th from 1-3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1 Elias Street, Port Hope, Ontario. Donations can be made in Nancy’s memory to The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, Ontario. Condolences may be made at www.CommunityAlternative.ca.
