Molly’s Obituary
HATFIELD, Molly Eileen – 85, of Bayside Home, passed away August 10, 2019 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on March 11, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Ella (Cunningham) Ross. Molly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Molly loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy. She was a faithful member of the Island Gospel Tabernacle Church. She loved cooking and will also be remembered as the “fudge lady” for her famous fudge. Molly was also known for her brand name clothing and makeup. She is survived by her sons, Guy (Rachael), Jack (Pauline), Kenny (Tina), Tom (Wendy), Mark and David (Tamara); daughters, Sally Nickerson (Kyle), Dorothy Penney (Timmy) and Laura Ross; sister, Dorothy Greenwood; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Sr.; grandson, Billy Jack Hatfield; 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Molly’s family would like to thank all the staff of Bayside Home for their excellent care and compassion. She was truly a member of the Bayside family. There will be a visitation on Monday August 12, at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington, from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday August 13, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington at 2 pm, with Pastor Dan Dunnett officiating. Molly will be buried at the Atlantic Cemetery Stoney Island. Donations may be made in her memory to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund, Barrington Lions Hall or charity of your choice.
