Marie Carrigan
1947-2019
Marie Carrigan, age 72, of Linacy, passed away Sunday, August
18, 2019, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. She is survived by
her husband of over 40 years, Dan; daughters: Carla (Andrew) Graham
and Donna (Mike); grandchildren: Felicia, Rachael and Keegan. She is
also survived by her brother, Mike (Kathy); niece, Tanya Harding. She
was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Mike Cochrane. Marie, in her
earlier years, worked at Zellers and Steel Furnishing Co. She was
secretary at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church for over 20
years. Her real joy was making people laugh and she was a very avid
bowler. Visitation 2-4 pm Wednesday, August 21, in the R.H. Porter
Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow. As requested by Marie,
there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and there
will be a private burial. Donations in her memory may be made to a
charity of choice.
