Passed away unexpectedly at the TriLake Health Centre, Killarney MB, on Friday August 23, 2019 at the age of 72 years, Margarete Dalgleish (nee Benedyzcak), of Baldur MB.
Marge leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 55 years Jim, sons John (Sandra Couling) of Alexander MB, Dale (Karen) of Ninette MB, grandchildren Dexter & Hayley as well as numerous extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents and a few siblings.
Margarete (Marge) came to Canada (Shilo) from Germany in April of 1963, there she met Jim and they were married May 2 of 1964. Jim and Marge then moved to Hamiota where their two children John and Dale were born. In 1970 work had the family move to Belmont and this is when Marge took employment at the Pelican Lake Training Center. In 1990 Jim and Marge moved to an acreage North of Ninette where they enjoyed a hobby farm with many different exotic animals for their enjoyment. As the two moved into retirement the decision was made to move to Baldur.
Marge enjoyed many different hobbies throughout her life such as caring for her many animals at the farm, she enjoyed making stained glass ornaments and many other crafts. Marge especially enjoyed when her grandchildren Dexter and Hayley came into her life as she enjoyed their company very much.
Cremation has taken place and private family gathering will be held at a later date.
