Obituary
It is with heavy and loving hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret (Peggy) McBride on August 3, 2019 at the age of 92. Peggy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Peggy’s family was the pride and joy of her life. Her generous heart and innate capacity for kindness are just a few of the many reasons she will be dearly missed. Peggy will be affectionately remembered by her daughter Barbara (Howard) Pratley, son Donald (Colette) McBride, her treasured grandchildren Tiffany, James, Nicholas, Megan, Shannon, Jacob, and her sweet great-grandchildren Mason, Lucas, and Walton. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Jim, daughter Heather, and granddaughter Allison. There will be a private memorial service held for family. We would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers who offered Peggy comfort, companionship, and exceptional care in her final years; Rosalia (Jinky) Fabricante, Grace Cabot, Justyna Kujawa, Ritsuka Haraikawa, and Trista LaBoucane
The legacy Peggy leaves behind will live on in those she loved through cherished memories and the passion she instilled in family for kindness, education, confidence, and empathy. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta.
