Obituary of Marcello DeBiasi
DEBIASI, MARCELLO – Surrounded by family, Marcello peacefully passed away at Niagara Health System – St. Catharines Site on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Amabile (2016) for over 60 years. Loving father of Loris (Emily) and Louisa (Brian) Covello. Adored nonno to Julia, Marcel and Eric. Brother of Lina (Toni) Pavan, Norina (Danillo) Zuccarello, Mafalda (the late Luigi) Magro, Martin (Giovanina) DeBiasi, Elena (the late Tisiano) Zanata, Domenico (Angela) DeBiasi, Maria (the late Pietro) Carinato. Predeceased by Girolomo (Imacolata) DeBiasi, Enrico (Rosa) DeBiasi, Delio (Anna) DeBiasi, Toni (surviving spouse Anna) DeBiasi. Marcello is fondly remembered by surviving in-laws Giani (Rosa) Cappellazzo, Giorgio (Nina) Cappellazzo, Ada (Lelo) Nardin, Dina (Dino) Tortoto, Gino (Eole) Cappellazzo and predeceased by Lino (Sandra) Cappellazzo and Tersina (Carlo) Pascoulin. Zio Marcello will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, Monday, September 2, 2019 from 2:00 -5:00 PM. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 3:00. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, would be appreciated by the family.
