Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Brant Centre in Burlington on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Joyce for 64 years. Loving father of Norman (Bev), Donald (Sharon), Robert (Ann; Late Monicke) and Diane (Denis). Proud grandfather of Ryan, Jason (Laura), Tyler (Rebecca), Sarah, Michael, Laura, Isabelle, Alexandre, Brandon and Andre; great grandfather of Colten, Sophia and Carter. Larry will be missed by his siblings Sr. Clemence, Florence (Late Henri), Anita (Lucien), Rachel, Gilles (Colombe), Michel, and Carmel as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Fr. Lionel, Alice, Sr. Rolande, Annette, Roland, Jeanine and Marcel. In keeping with Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 12 – 1 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. followed by a reception. A private interment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
