Another angel has entered Heaven.
Our beloved “Nan” passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Karen was the loving wife of Harry, celebrating 60 years of marriage in September, and the beloved mother of Michele and her husband Gary McDonald.
Cherished Nan of Ryan (Aleksa), Tyler and Alex McDonald and great-grandmother to our special Ava.
Predeceased by her children Rodney and John and loving daughter of the late Helen and Jack VanEvery.
Dear sister of Brenda (Wayne), Sandra (late John) and sister in law of Larry and Judy; Diane and Bill; and Charmaine and Sam.
Her family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. A service to commemorate Karen’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations made to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by her family.
