Nickel, John Wayne
Went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by his loving family on August 29, 2019 at age 70. Loving husband of Carol and dear father of Jonathan (Corrie), Jesse (Susan), Jordan (Kelly), and infant daughter Jennifer (1989). Treasured Grandpa of David, Emily and Alyssa. Son of Elsie Nickel and the late John Nickel (2007). Brother of Dennis (Carol), Ray (Heidi), Al (Fran), Arnie (Linda) and Dorothy (Wieland) Hamm. Uncle to many special nieces and nephews and a very dear friend to many.
The family will receive friends at Cornerstone Community Church (Orchard Campus), 434 Hunter Road, Niagara on the Lake on Wednesday, September 4 from 3-4:30 and 6-8 pm. Service in the church will be held on Thursday at 11 am with interment following at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetary. Reception to follow. If desired, memorial donations to The Gideons would be appreciated.
