It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, John Hiebert who passed away August 15, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
He will be remembered with love by his wife Lena, children Ron (Linda), Wes (Jackie), Sandra, Kevin (Laurie), Scott (Candace), many adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John was pre-deceased by his first grandchild, Ryan.
A service honouring John’s life will be held on Friday, August 23rd at 11:00 am at the First Mennonite Church 3650 – 91st NW Edmonton, Alberta with Pastor Craig Neufeld officiating.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 – 91st NW Edmonton, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John’s memory to the Alberta Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice.
