Life Legacy
HUME, Joan E. – Passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday August 15, 2019 at the age of 87. Loving wife of 68 years to Doug and beloved mother of Jacqueline (the late Robin) Zufelt and mother-in-law of Kathy (the late Bob) Hume. Cherished Nana of Jennifer (Ryan) Gentry, Stephen Hume and Victoria (Tyler) Coleman. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Jessie Clayton. Cremation has taken place, with a private family inurnment in Fairview Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Mrs. Hume, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (GNGH Trillium Unit), and would be appreciated by her family.
