Obituary of Hugh Kernohan
Kernohan, Hugh – Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 as a result of a fall.
Loving father of Nicole Kernohan (Gerry Newton), Christopher Kernohan, Krissy Niskenen (Phil) and Hugh John Kernohan (Anna). Grandfather of Isabelle, Connor, Zoe, Paige, Madalin, Emily and Patrick. Hugh was the dear brother of Rosemary MacIsaac and the late Martha Lowry. Much loved uncle of Alister, Pamela and Janice. He will be lovingly remembered by his dear friend and support Charlene Fagan-Kernohan and many other relatives and friends.
Retired coach and school-bus driver. An avid soccer player in Ireland. Hugh enjoyed watching soccer, Western movies and reading biographies. He loved to travel and has seen most of Canada and USA.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be arranged. In memory of Hugh, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.CommunityAlternaitve.ca.
