Howard Charles Shepherd Lavers passed away on the morning of August 20, 2019 at the age of 55. A self-proclaimed news, trivia, music, and sports junkie, he would have probably been more interested in noting that October 15 is also the anniversary of Wayne Gretzky passing Gordie Howe as the NHL’s All-Time Scorer in 1989, and that August 20 is the day the Rolling Stones released “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” in the UK in 1965, than he would commemorating his own birthday or asking people to mourn his passing.
Howard will be missed by his step-father Patrick Hatfield; children Celia (Cody) and Andrew; brothers Mark, Christopher, and Jamie; grandson Grayson; partner Sandy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Certainly, he will also be missed by his “critters,” Sydney (dog) and Puppy (cat).
Howard was predeceased by his parents, Doreen and Jim.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday September 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Leduc Fellowship Church (4401 Rollyview Rd, Leduc, AB).
