Obituary of Hedley Maxwell Pope
Surrounded by his family at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Hedley Maxwell Pope, passed peacefully away on August 28, 2019, at the age of 75. Hedley was an active member of the Botwood 50+ Club and the Lions Club and displayed a true zest for life.
Hedley was predeceased by his parents Fred and Ethel Pope, sisters Margaret and Elvina, and brother Gerald.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, sons Kevin (loving wife Tracy), Brian and Greg; precious grandchildren Austin, Dylan, Riley and Lisa; sisters Daphne (Helmut), Ernestine; brothers Henry (Joan), Fred (Patricia), Clarence (Barbara); companion Arlene, and Jean, the loving mother of his children; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place on Friday August 30, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm at Hoskins Funeral Home in Botwood.
Funeral Service will take place at Hoskins Funeral Home in Botwood on Saturday August 31, 2019 at 11:00 am.
Donations in his memory can be made to Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or the Newfoundland-Labrador Canadian Cancer Society.
