GELINAS, Yvon

Yvon went to be with the Lord suddenly and unexpectedly July 31, 2019 at the age of 67. Survived by his loving wife Marie of 33 years; sons Chris (Kristann) Allan, Greg (Trina) Allan, Jeremy Johnson, and Miguel Gelinas; daughter Renee (Lam) Dinh; 6 grandchildren; sisters Celine, Louise, and Lise; and brothers Gaston and Mario. He was predeceased by brother Ron and parents Bernard and Estelle.
A special thanks to Dr. Jen Bruce and the staff of KGH and Kelowna Fire and Ambulance for their compassion and efforts to save Yvon. “I could not have asked for a more professional team of people and the two young men that performed CPR on my husband before the paramedics got here. Forever grateful to you all.”
A private local Memorial Service will be held near the end of August and a Graveside Service will take place at a later date on the East coast.
