Fred passed away suddenly at home on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Erma Findlay (nee Wiltse). Proud father of Russell (Noreen), Paul (Ellen) and Debra. Cherished grandfather of Adam (Jenn), Tyler (Kaylene), Robert, Cory and Carrie and great-grandfather of Ava, Addisyn, Bronson, Ryerson, Caleb, Holland and Kelli. Survived by sister Glenna Findley. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Fred was predeceased by his parents Glen and Lettie Findlay, and his siblings Belva Earl and Dean Findley. A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at the Smiths Falls Civitan Hall on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In memory of Fred, contributions to the Smiths Falls Hospital Foundation (Dialysis Unit) would be appreciated.
