It was Edna’s wish to have a graveside funeral at the Merna Cemetery where a lot of her family is buried. Edna was married to Gordon Reid in 1951 and divorced in 1998, was married to Gordon Waite in 1998. Both husbands are deceased. Gordon Reid and Edna adopted four children: Donald (Beth), Sharon (Robert), Daniel (Laura), Becky. Ken Sun Ting Leung was like a son and was part of the family for many years. She has three siblings: Earl (Leola), Edith (Wayne), Ray (Barb); ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and gardening. She served on many boards and organizations and was a staunch member of the United Church. She loved a lot, cried a little, laughed a lot and lived a full life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Merna Cemetery fund.
