Doris Marie Chadwick (nee Haig)
Passed away peacefully at Markdale Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on August 2, 2019 at 87 years of age.
Reunited with her late husband Ted Chadwick (1987) and with her grandsons Dustin and Michael. Dear spouse of Raymond Purdy. Cherished mother of Tim Chadwick (late Dorothy), Lorne Chadwick (Lorie), Janet Wanzuk (Peter), Toni Curtis (David), Ted Chadwick (Celeste), Carole Chadwick, and Lee Chadwick (Sue). Adored “Mimi” of 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Charles & Mabel Haig. Loving sister of the late Madeline, Lorraine, Claire, Bernice, Kay, Donna, the late Ron, and the late Sheila. She will be sadly missed by countless nieces and nephews.
Doris was always ready for a visit with coffee, pastries and an endless menu on hand. She enjoyed wood carving, quilting and painting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Doris’ cremated remains will be interred at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, alongside her late husband Ted, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
