Obituary of Christiaan Carel Dokter
It is with heavy hearts the family of Christiaan Dokter announces his passing at his home on August 16th, 2019 in his 88thyear, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease for over 22 years. Beloved husband of Tina Dokter of 65 cherished years. Loving father of Jack Dokter (Kathy Carnie), Sandra (Arch) McTavish, John (Donna) Dokter, and Audrey (Wayne) Ellis. Proud grandpa of Lisa (Lance), Jill (Trent), Alex (Sneha), Josh, Teri (Saurabh), Christine, and Jennifer. Special great-grandfather of 3 great-granddaughters. As per Christiaan’s wishes, a private family service will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
