Charlotte Gladys Legge
1940-2019
Charlotte Gladys Legge – age 79, of Centreville, passed away
on Tuesday, August 28, 2019 in the Valley Regional Hospital,
Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Ackman
and Evelyn (Illsley) Ward. Charlotte had been employed with Scotian
Gold and operated a yarn store in Kentville. She will be greatly
missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her
husband, John; daughter, Tammy (Jim) Wilson, Calgary; son, Ackman,
Centreville; granddaughters, Kierra Wilson, Kristen Rodin, Ashlee
Legge; great-grandchildren, Emily, Aaron and Sidney; nieces, nephews
and extended family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by
sisters, Manetta Brown; Mabel McCamon; Rose, in childhood; brothers,
Avery and Fletcher. Cremation has taken place and there will be no
visitation or funeral service, by request. Burial will take place at a
later date in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory
may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
