Obituary for Cecil Lane
Passed away peacefully at Watford Quality Care on Saturday, August 31, 2019. CECIL LANE was 99 years old. Cecil was was the loving husband to the late Nyhl (nee Coulter)(2009). He will be missed by his children Lynne Anne and Ken Gallaway of Watford, Marilyn and Clayton Hazelwood of Fort McMurray, and Mervyn Lane of London, his grandchildren Annalea (Bruce) Kidd, Valerie (Trevor) Newman, Alana Gallaway, Orrin (Andrea) Hazelwood, Katrina (Andrew) Harrison, Beverley (Nathan) Charlton, Cheryl (Aaron) Whitten, Ron (Cheryl Dawn) Hazelwood, and Brenda Lynne (Alton) Farrough, and fifteen great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his brother’s Russell and Mary Lane of Fergus, Lloyd and Louise Lane of Watford, and Jack and Louise Lane of Watford. He was predeceased by a grandson Leslie, a brother George (Emily) Lane, and sisters’ Audrey (Eric) Foster, Opal Lane, and Doris Lane. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Watford. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Watford Quality Care Resident’s Council or the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca).
