It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late CECIL A. HANDRIGAN of
Lord’s Cove announces his passing. Cecil passed
away at his home in Lord’s Cove on Thursday, August
8th, 2019 at the age of 81. Leaving
to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Kate of 58
years; sons, Gary Handrigan of ON, and Corey Handrigan (Leelet
Magaddatu) of Ontario; daughters, Bernice Handrigan (Glen
Brockerville) of Lawn, Rose Handrigan of Ontario, and Cindy Handrigan
(Douglas Hynes) of Ontario; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
sister, Florence Wall (Leo) of St. John’s;
sisters-in-law, Brenda Handrigan and Bernice Handrigan both of St.
Lawrence; plus a large circle of relatives and
friends.
Cecil was predeceased by his
parents, John & Lillian Handrigan; son, Louis Handrigan;
grandson, Blake Fitzpatrick; and brothers, Mike and Adolph
Handrigan.
The Handrigan Family will be
accepting visitors at St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church,
Lord’s Cove on Sunday, August 11th
from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00
p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will take
place on Monday, August 12th, 2019 at 2:00 pm
from St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church, Lord’s
Cove. Inurnment will follow at St. Elizabeth’s
Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lord’s Cove.
