Bessie (Elisaveta) Buzak (nee Zadymirsky)
On August 15, 2019, Bessie Buzak passed away at the age of 97 years.
Bessie is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Eugene) Serediak of Mississauga, ON; daughter-in-law, Vera Buzak; five grandchildren, Lawrence (Corinne), Leanna, Michael, Nicholas (Doreen) and William; four great-grandchildren, Vaughn, Blakelee, Sarah, and Mia; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Demchuk and Sonia Buzak; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, John; son, Ernie; granddaughter, Natalie; her parents; and all her brothers and sisters.
Prayer Service Thursday, August 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Elia, 11833 – 66 Street, Edmonton.
Funeral Rite Friday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Elia. Reverend Father Dr. Roman Shiyan officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Elia, 11833 – 66 Street, Edmonton, AB T5B 1J2.
