Barbara Jean « Barney » Harrington
May 19, 1930 – August 3, 2019
Peacefully at Hallowell House on Saturday August 3rd, 2019. Barney Harrington, of Picton, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late George “Joe” Harrington. Loved mother of Ross & his partner Donna of Tweed, Peggy and her husband Tom Gorsline, Anna Marie and her husband George Hineman, and Betty and her husband Fred Hall, all of Picton. Proud grandma of Tracey, Chad, Keri, Kyleen, John, Allen, Greg, Joey, Shayne and Shannon and great-grandma of seventeen . Survived by her brothers Fred, Dan, Mike and David, and sister Cecilia. A Celebration of Barney’s life will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, Picton, on Tuesday August 13th at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dennis Pringle officiating. Interment to follow at Glenwood Cemetery. If desired, donations to the « Back the Build », PECMH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
