On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the age of 80, Angus’ body surrendered and his spirit was freed. Beloved husband of Sheila (née Kelly) and father of Angela (Guy), Aaron, Bruce (Beth), Peter, and Staci (Sean). Loving and playful grandfather of Zachary, Shane, Aidan, Owen, Rachel, Erica, Getiso, Evan, and Desmond. Survived by brothers George, Danny (Mary-Theresa), Eddy (Kathleen), Allen (Gwyn), and sisters Phyllis (Donald), Marilyn, and Audrey (Frank). Predeceased by brother Gerard and sister Barbara (Eugene), and parents Martin and Pauline.
Family and friends are invited to St. Francis Xavier Parish at 66 Church Street at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 31, 2019 for the celebration of the Eucharist. Please join us for a reception at Irvine Memorial Home at 4 James Street East, Brockville, Ontario immediately following mass. The family wish to express their gratitude to the Palliative Care Team and the staff who took such good care of all of us.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Brockville General Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit are gratefully accepted through the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation.
