SHIELDS, Alton – At Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 80 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Marlene and dear father of Laura-Lee and Gordon (Amanda). Dear grandfather of Estelle and Phoebe. Dear brother of Eileen, Peg, Mary, Fred, Maggie, Aurella, Sheila and Debbie. He is predeceased by his parents Emmett and Edna Shields. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, from 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will take place at St. John Chrysostom Church (Main & Ontario Streets, Newmarket), on Friday, August 23, 2019. at 10 a.m. On-line condolences may be made at www.roadhouseandrose.com
