Passed peacefully away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in the presence of her loving family, Nellie Cantwell whom resided with her daughter Rochelle (Cyril) in Mitchell’s Brook formerly of Torbay, NL. in her 84th year. Predeceased by husband: Stan, parents: Herbert and Joanna, brother Hubert, sisters: Blanche, Kay, Mary, Cindy, and son in-law Dick. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her children: Hubert (Carol), Marlene (Lester), Christine (Jerome), Edward (Marland), Debbie (Gerry), Liz (Randy), Gordon (Brenda), Kim (Robert) and Rochelle (Cyril); 22 grandchildren, 29 great -grandchildren and one to arrive soon; brothers and sisters: Gord (Edie), Gerald (Gail), and Fred Brown; brother in-law Myes; many nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to her Drs. Kim Babb and Paul Walsh, care taker Lil Hawco and nurses: Jill Greeley and Jessica Walsh. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, TORBAY. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11 am from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay, NL. Inurnment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Torbay. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood.
