Peter Stapleton
July 01, 1936 – July 25, 2019
It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of a strong man, a loving man – our “Rock”.
Surrounded by loving family, Peter in his 83rd year will be fondly remembered for his humour, tenacity, strength, integrity and humility.
Survived by his devoted wife Eleanor, brothers George (Delores), Arthur (Helen), Thomas (Judy), Brother-in-law Ray and a large circle of family and friends.
He will be sadly missed.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Winnifred (Duff), best friend and loving son, Clyde and sister Elizabeth Butler.
We wish to thank the H.S.C. nursing staff of 5 South B and 4 North B for their complete care and compassion.
Much appreciation for friendship and support of Diane Pitman, and Marjorie and Ed Baker, your kindness is remarkable.
Visitation to take place at Caul’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 with Christian Mass to take place from Holy Family Church on Tuesday July 30, 2019 at 10 am. With inurnment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery, St. Thomas’ Line.
Peter loved the ocean and beautiful flowers too, so in his memory we graciously accept them.
