Patrick’s Obituary
HENRY, Patrick Joseph passed away July 16, 2019 in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton from pancreatic cancer at the age of 63 years. Born in Edmonton, he was a son of the late Alban and Margaret (Kidd) Henry. He was a dedicated member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 36 years retiring with the rank of Warrant Officer. He served his country in many capacities around the world as a flight engineer on various aircraft. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Redden, stepdaughter, Clare Robinson (Kermit DeGooyer) of Herring Cove and stepson, Gabe Welsh of Chester. He is also survived by brother, Michel Henry, Bridgewater; sister, Clair, Dartmouth; sister, Sheilagh, Halifax and brother, Matthew, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family graveside service. A reception for family and friends will be held from 12 – 2 PM on Wednesday, July 24th at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. toll free 1-855-825-3448. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team and the staff of the TCU at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital for their excellent care and compassion shown to Patrick. We would also like to thank our many friends and our neighbours of the community of Margaretsville for their support and kind offers of assistance at this difficult time. God bless you all.
