«Michael “Mike” Lewis MacIsaac, age 43, Williamswood, passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 29th.
He married Wendy, the love of his life, in 2017. Mike is also survived by daughter Hunter and his beloved dog, Jaxson. Also survived by his parents, Anne and Angus «AJ» of Mahone Bay, brother, Chris, sister in law Tracey, nephew Jay, mother and father in law Patti and Archie Hutchison, best friend Scott Comeau and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Mike was a Sheet Metal worker and a proud member of local 409. He was a sought after player in local hockey beer leagues, and a major football fan. He enjoyed going on guys trips to NFL games and watching the Falcons lose, especially to his wife’s favourite team the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Mike liked to spend his winter weekends at the rink with Hunter and his summer weekends in front of the campfire with friends. Mike was always there for his many friends, be it for help or just a laugh. He was a loving husband, proud father, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
No funeral by personal request. A private gathering will be held at a later time. A special thanks to Dr. Daniel Rayson, the NS Cancer Center nurses and all the staff on the palliative care unit of the VG Hospital.
