Obituary of Mary Gibbs-Therrien
GIBBS-THERRIEN – Mary formerly of Port Colborne, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Friday July 5, 2019 in Hamilton in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Therrien. Loving mom of Chris and her husband Ian Mills and Michelle and her husband Rob Cleugh. Dear Grandma of Sydney, Sage, Ethan and Morgan. She will be dearly missed by her only sister Helen Croxford of Woodstock. Mary was predeceased by her cherished son Wright. Special thanks to Idlewyld Manor for the exceptional care and kindness shown to our mother. Mom devoted her life to her children and family. She was a very spiritual, creative and intelligent woman. Her warmth, compassion and humour will be missed by all. As per Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 123 King St., Port Colborne on Thursday July 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. A private graveside service will take place. Memorial donations to the Port Colborne Wainfleet Community Living would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
