Obituary of Lynda Elayne Jones
JONES, Lynda Elayne peacefully with family by her side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Wiarton early Tuesday morning July 16, 2019. Lynda Jones (nee Noyce) of Neyaashiinigmiing in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Dale Jones for 26 years. Cherished mother of Mike Jones and his wife, Bess, of Brampton and Kelly Theodosiou and her husband, George, of Toronto. Much loved grandmother of Mary, Amy, Mackenzie and Mckaela. Missed by Holly and Justine Keeshig and Dylan Ritchie, as well as many other foster children. Dear sister of Paul Noyce and David Noyce of B.C., Wendy (Gerry) Stentaford of Oshawa, Sharron Brodie of Whitby, Susan (Ian) Cockburn of Willow Beach and Robert (Debbie) Crittenden of Midland. Auntie Nin to Cheryl, Shawna, Robyn, Stephen, Nathan, Aaron, Anjanette, Ian, Paul, Mike, Melissa and James and their spouses, as well as many great nieces and great nephews. Sister-in-law of Howard (Grace) Jones, Sam (Dorothy) Jones, Cheryl Jones, Rose Jones and Kathy Jones, all of Neyaashiinigmiing, Roxy (John) Boudrias of Ottawa and Lori Anne (Brian) Drane of Dobbintonn. Missed by their extended families. Predeceased by daughter Allison, son Andrew, parents Joan (nee Maguire) and Roy Noyce, mother-in-law Bertha Jones, and brother-in-law Gord Brodie. Family and friends are invited to share memories at the Maadookii Senior Centre, Neyaashiinigmiing starting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 until the time of the funeral service on Saturday July 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of life to follow on August 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at the Royal Canadian Legion, 21 East Street, Sutton West.
