Lynda Louise Childerhose (nee Schlegel)
of Listowel and formerly of Moorefield passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Childerhose (1995). Cherished mother of Shelly Nunn and Ryan Long of Kitchener, Trevor and Sandy Sachs of Ottawa and Lynn Schmidt and Mike Solomon of Drayton. Dear grandmother of Ryan Nunn, Nicole Nunn, Makayla Nunn and John Driscoll, Sandra Schmidt and Alex Liddle, Melissa Schmidt, Justin Schmidt, Samantha Schmidt, Dylan Solomon, Taylor Sachs and Madison Sachs. Sister of Bill and Shirley Schlegel of R.R. # 2 Moorefield, Barb Steele of Waterloo. Sister-in-law of Peggy Schlegel of Glen Allen. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Rob Schlegel, Rebecca Steele, Kevin Schlegel, Jennifer Schlegel, Maya Steele and triplets Brevin, Tanner and Kearan Schlegel and her friends. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Louise (Duke) Schlegel and brother John Schlegel.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Glen Allen Cemetery.
